Hello, I’m Kayla

Priorities for Gresham
-
I want to help Gresham catch up to its growth rate. There is still a ton of untapped potential we haven’t been able to harness because we have been in reactive mode with our budget and infrastructure needs for so long.
I plan to…
Cast vision for the future of Gresham
Help the City meet the goals of its strategic plan
Preserve historical buildings
Make sure new developments align with our city’s vision and needs
-
Gresham is my home, just as it is yours. I want to do everything I can at the policy level to ensure our community is safe for my family and yours!
I plan to…
Support of emergency services including Gresham Fire and Police
Help keep our city streets clean
Make Gresham a desirable place to live, work, play and visit
-
In a time when we are all feeling the impacts of inflation and the constant knocks of government fees and taxes, I want to ensure that the City is accountable and responsible for all tax dollars spent.
I plan to…
Reduce wasted time and resources
Monitor budget and spending allocations
-
I will work hard to improve the community’s trust and involvement with City Council and their local City government. This takes collaboration, education, and active participation at every level in our community.
I plan to….
Help provide financial resources to community members and business owners
Seek involvement from community members and business owners
Be open with the community about the City’s issues and celebrating our wins
Support my run for City Council
